Help needed with Rivers history book gathering

A Rivers history book planning meeting at Prairie Crocus Regional Library discussed timeline toward a September 2011 unveiling. Chair Dora Irvine, secretary Kathy Roberts, and treasurer Joan Thomson attended with three other residents. Further research, photo submissions, and local histories are invited through future workshops and community outreach.

Rivers Legion Auxiliary Holds March Meeting and Plans Meals on Wheels

Rivers Legion Branch No. 75 conducted its March 3 meeting with 21 members, no new applicants, and a 50 50 draw yielding 45 50 won by Roberds. Volunteers needed for April Meals on Wheels deliveries 4 30 to 5 p.m. Next meeting April 7.
