Seniors Enjoy A Fine Meal At The Honey House
Georgine Mann welcomed 25 senior citizens to The Honey House Bakery and Café on Wednesday evening March 4. Helpers included her husband John and family. The meal featured herb biscuits, oven baked chicken with honey ham and cheese, potatoes and peas, followed by crumb lemon custard with meringue for dessert. Seniors meet each Wednesday at Rivers restaurants with rotating venues including Lee's West Avenue Tempo and The Honey House. Shelly Mom's closes early on Wednesdays so seniors do not gather there.
