April Recreation Courses Offer Wide Range of Community Classes
The community announces a series of April courses led by local instructors. Della Radcliffe teaches a beginner machine quilting class at Rivers Collegiate on April 20 for 20 dollars. Babysitters course runs Thursday nights from 7 to 9 pm for five weeks at Town Hall Civic Centre, ages 1 to 12. Alexis MacLean leads a March perennial session at Rivers Collegiate for 20 dollars. A Level 1 softball coaches technical course is set for April 20–21 at Rivers Collegiate, 9 am to 5 pm, cost expected 40 to 50 dollars. Minor Ball registration begins first week of April with notices to schools. Ball diamond planning progresses under the promotions and finance committee. Riverdale gardens schedule nears completion with two end-of-season tournaments by Westman Winter Hockey league and Tempo Kings league.
