Storage vital for quality timothy hay exports
Manitoba expert Kevin Yaworski urges storage for timothy hay destined for export, which could rise from 200,000 to potentially 1,000,000 tonnes with quality intact. Brown leaf avoidance, green colour and proper grading determine value. July harvest and low input costs favor Timoty hay amid rising cattle numbers and regional growth.

Proposed Hog Operation Located on 80 Acre Sites in 21-12-22
The project comprises an 800 sow farrow to finish nucleus operation occupying 1000 animal units. Two 80 acre sites are planned: the south half of the NW quarter and the SW quarter of 21-12-22, with an earthen manure storage on the south half of the NW quarter. The sites minimize neighbor impact and support long-term manure application in a high health stock setup.
