Safe play areas reduce farm child risks says CAIR guidance
CAIR notes 74.2 percent of child fatalities are work related and 45 percent of non work related deaths are drownings. Advice emphasizes creating a safe play area away from farm activity with a four foot fence and self latching gate, sheltered, pest free and with safe equipment and padding.
