Manitoba Good Roads Banquet Awards In Brandon
The Manitoba Good Roads Association held its annual banquet in Brandon on February 27 where Ab Chapman presented the Chapman Museum Shield to David and Carol Friesen of the RM of Shell River for best farm home grounds. The Friesens also won the Provincial Cup in the same category. A World Day of Prayer service was held at St James Anglican Church led by Fran Bird with diverse church participation and a speaker from Ghana. Bernie McKenzie returned from a 10 day tour of Athens, Israel and Jordan and Nola and Mary McBurney just completed a Bermuda vacation. Great grandchild news arrived for Margaret and Nyall Hyndman.
