Legion Ladies Auxiliary Meeting Notes and Plans
Rivers Legion Ladies Auxiliary held a March 2 meeting with 26 members. One new member was installed. Lunch was served for the branch zone meet ing with about 20 attendees. An executive meeting Feb 5 revised the convening list. A zone meeting in Brandon hosted by No. 247 drew 37 members. A district meeting is planned in Kenton on March 7. Our adopted veteran has moved and will receive home refurbishing aid. Our sick and visiting officer will assess needs. Bingo at Riverdale Personal Care Home proceeds well. Four six foot tables for the hall arrived. Kitchen cleanup for March is Lisa Smith and Marlene Allen. Meeting concluded with coffee and cookies.
