Pike tagged yearly in Lake Wahtopanah since 2009 caught for derby prize
Nathan Astakeesic of Rivers caught one of the tagged pike from Lake Wahtopanah during the Riv ers and Area Game and Fish derby week. The fish bore yellow tag No 0799, tagged Feb 27 2011, 10 000 derby prize remains unpaid and only one other tagged fish has claimed a cash prize within 12 months. Local groups offer 150 total rewards for a tagged pike within a year, with derby date set for March 10.
