Fire destroys cottage at Chimo Resort. mutual aid called
On June 23 at 11 50 pm Rivers Daly Fire Department battled a large fire at 23 Sioux Lane Chimo Resort. Rapid City Fire and M M Driving assisted with water and equipment as the blaze spread to a shed and vehicle. The cabin owned by Garth and June Cumming was destroyed but all occupants were later confirmed safe. Cause under investigation. Toyota Camry and contents insured.
