Fair marks three-day Rapid City event with shows and parades
The Rapid City fair spanned three days featuring MGRA entries, a pancake breakfast by Rapid City Nursery School, and a parade won by Minnedosa heavy horse team led by Wes Ferguson and supported by Mayor Terry Crebit. Cattle and horse shows ran to 5 pm, with numerous displays and prizes across domestic and horticulture categories. A Sunday team penning event drew 114 teams as Kim O Hara offered cotton candy and treats throughout the grounds.
