Rapid City Fair honors four women with life memberships
The 131st Rapid City fair on June 18 featured four life memberships awarded to Doris Esplin Bette Hyndman Lesley Jackson and Heather Smith. Highlights included parade led by Kirk Bridgeman, top floats by Mill Pond Tea House Rapid City and District 4-H Beef Club Evangel Worship Centre, and craft contests with winners in baking handicrafts and horticulture. Horse events moved to the rodeo grounds due to soggy grounds amid spring rains.
