Rivers Cemetery and Columbarium history and facilities
Rivers Cemetery on Memorial Drive in the northeast corner began as a 10 acre site once owned by Grand Trunk Pacific Railway. A cemetery committee guides upkeep with RM town, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 75, and local churches, while plots cost from 25 to 100 and 300 in 2010. A 2005 cremation area and a late purchase of a columbarium expanded services.
