Manitoba Women Learn Outdoors At BOW Event
The Becoming an Outdoors Woman program by the Manitoba Wildlife Federation held June 10 12 at Circle Square Ranch near Austin. About 60 participants and 40 instructors gathered for hands on workshops from archery to trapping plus a sunrise hike and outdoor fish fry. A live auction raised close to 4000 for BCW costs, with attendees ranging from Winnipeg mothers to young adults seeking skill building and confidence in outdoor activities.
