Community Pasture Marks 50 Years Of Service At Neepawa Area
This June 6 1998 feature recalls the Langford Lansdowne Community Pasture started in 1947 near Neepawa with John Peters as first manager serving 31 years. It notes fence work cattle numbering 906 to 2700, annual fees in 1948, vaccination and recording practices, and later managers Bill Mutrie and Jim Birnie, with land laid largely untouched by plow.
