Rivers railway station history meets community revival plans
A Rivers RM council notes a long stream of long term local events from 95 years back through 2014. It highlights committees restoring the CN station for Rivers centennial celebrations with Via Rail funding, chocolate engine fundraisers, grants, and a vote on a Via Rail voucher draw. The piece also covers local births marriages and notable community happenings.
