Rivers woman charged in traffic death
Cherie Clark 39 of Rivers faces charges of impaired driving causing death and careless driving causing death after a July crash on Highway 25 two miles east of Rivers. Cornelius Mazawashuna, 35, died at the scene while two other passengers were hospitalized. Clark’s first court date is August 17.

Driver charged after two vehicle collision on Highway 25
At 7:25 p.m. on July 23, Rivers police responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway 25 near Road 120W. Both eastbound vehicles, one signaling to turn, collided after the second driver failed to see the slowdown. Vehicle two’s operator was charged with imprudent driving. damage exceeded $1,000.
