The auction saw a $2000 top silent bid on a luxury box with $500 in food for a Wheat Kings game. Registered bidders dropped to 125 from 159 live bidders last year. Don Ramsey recognized MP Merv Tweed for pledging $935,000 toward the Riv Community Complex, plus a pontoon lake cruise donation. Several donors contributed, including $25,000 to name a referee room and $5,000 gifts in memory of Lil Espey. Net is projected around $75,000 this year, with prior year around $145,000 and a total near $1.0 million raised toward the $1.6 million goal.
