Caledonian Games Open With Scottish Festival at Kenton Park
The 10th annual Caledonian Games opened at 1 p.m. at Kenton Ball Park with President Bill Amnott and chieftain Helen Dalling presiding. Events included piping demonstrations, Highland dancing, children's races, adult slow bike and various heavy games, pillow fights, and a tug of war, with winners like Gordon Gentles and Rus sell Thompson. A raffle awarded a summer jacket as sunshine highlighted the day.
