Annie Hiebert celebrates 90th birthday at farm party
Mrs. Annie Hiebert marked her 90th birthday with a Come and Go tea at her farm eight miles southwest of Rivers. More than 70 guests attended from Calgary, Winkler, Winnipeg, Brandon, Rivers, Alexander and nearby farms, with over 30 cards and six floral arrangements. The event noted three life milestones including moving to the farm in 1950 and a jubilee year on July 4. Her first great great grandchild born December 14, 1999, adds a fifth generation. The party took place Sunday July 16, though her birthday was Thursday July 20.
