Oak River Fair Report Highlights July Fair Day Activities
Oak River held its fair on Monday July 14 under variable weather with sun and showers. Livestock classes, children's games, a small petting farm, and a Big Ears Donkey Ranch demonstration drew crowds. A new scarecrow contest energized the curling space with top prizes to local entrants and several raffles supported the Oak River Fire Department. Roughly 100 horses attended. champions were named in multiple categories and the Commercial Classic trophy went to Brent Burt. The day closed with exhibits, trailers hawking wares, an evening supper, and two concession booths.
