Blanshard seeks intermunicipal waste site with partners

Manitoba MLA Harold Gilleshammer announces the Community Places program approval of 140 projects statewide totaling 2.9 million dollars. In Minnedosa Constituency, Valleyview Golf Club Rapid City receives 17000 for artificial greens and trees, Rivers Men's Curling Club 24521 for fire safety upgrades, Alexander Whiteheads Senior Citizen's Club 52915 for a disabled access ramp, Cardale Community Rink 8640 for arena lobby repairs, and Oak River Community Association 2250 to replace ball diamond fences. The program covers up to 50 percent of project costs with a 50 000 maximum per project. Applications for the next round are due August 30, 1994.
