Tempo Drive Inn marks 40 years serving Rivers area
The Tempo Place Emporium celebrates four decades since Keith Lamb opened Cross-Town Drive Inn in September 1981. From a gas station to a lounge and arcade, the business evolved through family involvement and upgrades, with Vaughn and Sharon taking over in 2018 after Keith’s health decline and death in 2019. A weekend celebration is planned for August 14–15 with updates pending COVID-19 rules.
