Rivers Hosts Large Reunion And Notables Return
A busy weekend at Rivers featured a large school reunion for Rivers and Brooke graduates from 1909 to 1959 at Riverdale Community Gardens and separate gatherings for Classes of 1973 to 1976 at Rivers fairgrounds. Visitors included Darryl Brandon Pauline Kuhn and many others reconnecting after decades. Bert Dunn learned of Kathy Lewis's passing in her 54th year. Grace Bullock found robins nesting in a flower pot with three blue eggs after a clever mother used coconut fibers from another pot to line it.
