Canada Day events in Kenton draw crowds despite lower figures
Kenton United Church hosted a Canada Day breakfast for 190 attendees while the Lions poker derby logged 129 hands and the ag society pit barbecue fed 301. A beach concert with band Billy attracted smaller turnout. Edna Lonsdale turns 90 on July 13 with a party at Harding Hall 2 to 4 p.m. and a potluck supper planned that evening.
