Hike for Hospice fundraiser supports Rivers volunteers
Aomi Russell Rivers and Area Volunteer Palliative Care Committee hosted the annual Hike for Hospice on Sunday June 28. Eight participants walked the in town route on a hot day and a barbecued supper at Riverdale Health Centre followed, with donations totaling 2984 dollars staying in Rivers.
