Student Finds Real World Path in IDS at The University of Winnipeg
Katie Froese, a Steinbach Regional Secondary School graduate, discovered a passion for international relief while on a grade 11 trip to Nicaragua. She pursued an IDS bachelor’s at The University of Winnipeg, gaining field experience in Swaziland with Africa Revolution and planning an open house event on February 19 offering campus tours and a chance to win a $5,000 tuition credit.
