Rivers Curling Club plans multimillion recreation complex
The Rivers Curling Club traces its history from a 1909 opening through four rink sites and a 1962 move costing 18 000 dollars. In 2001 the RRFRC formed to study a single multiplex arena, backed by federal 800 000 and provincial 800 000 funds. Local councils, communities, and donors now work toward a 6.5 million project with 32.3 million in secured funding plans.
