Rage hockey team opens season with banner win in Hamiota
Rivers-Elton Rage hockey opened with a banner victory at a weekend tournament in Hamiota. They lost to Major Pratt Friday but defeated host Huskies in the B-side semi finals and then beat Strathclair-Rossburn-Shoal Lake in the finals to claim the banner. The team then topped Minnedosa Chancellors 3-2 at Riverdale Community Gardens. They beat the Golden Bears 5-4 in Virden and face Neepawa Natives on Jan 14 and Crocus Plains on Jan 16.
