Rivers Curling Club hosts learn to curl clinic and bonspiels

The Rivers Curling Club offers a free four session learn to curl clinic starting Tuesday Jan 21 at 7 30 pm with coaches guiding all ages. Junior curling has 60 kids on Thursdays while the men and ladies bonspiels run Jan 17 19 and Jan 31 Feb 2 with entry fees including supper and a banquet.

Recreation program overview for Rivers area activities

The recreation office lists 2003 programs including volleyball league starting this Sunday in Rivers. Yoga runs Mondays Jan 6 to March 25 with a Feb sessions, aerobics Tuesdays and Thursdays at RES, indoor soccer Mondays Jan 13 for grades 1-6, mini basketball starting Jan 15 for grades 3-6, gymnastics sessions March 13 to April 17 and Feb 26 to March 26 at RES, with registrations by phone and an eight two year day planner giveaway. The draw for planners will be Feb 17.
