Recreation programs offer multiple activities at Rivers area
Recreation Director Claudia Nobi lists ongoing aerobics at Rivers Elementary School on Mondays and Wednesdays at 645 to 745 pm until Feb 21 extended due to cold. Volleyball league starts Sunday Jan 9 at Rivers Collegiate Institute at 5 pm. Quilting Friday 7 to 9 pm at Rivers Civic Centre. Walking club runs Jan 11 to Feb 24 Tuesdays and Thursdays 7 to 9 pm at RCI pre-register by Jan 10. Youth floor hockey Jan 17 to Feb 14 Mondays at RES for grades 2-6. limited spaces. Internet course tentatively planned for Jan 29 at RCI 10 am to 4 pm. Youth gymnastics Feb 2 9 16 March 2 9 at RES 3:50 to 4:30 pm register. also at Rapid City School Feb 1 8 15 March 1 3:40 to 4:20 pm for Kindergarten to Grade 5.
