Learn to Fish event draws families to Lake Wahtopanah
Carolyn Phillips reports a Learn to Fish day on Lake Wahtopanah attracting nineteen youth aged two months to ten years, with parents and grandparents. RAGF instructors taught ice fishing skills, supplied by R.W. Baits, while South West Wildlife Group and Riverdale Municipality funded five prize ice rod and reel combos. Despite no fish caught, participants enjoyed hot chocolate, cookies, gifts, and a promised Fish Derby on March 8.
