Cardale Mixed Bonspiel Highlights Feb Shows Strong Curling Field
Cardale hosted its annual mixed bonspiel February 4 to 7 with 20 rinks. Ken and Laci Peters led the first event with Stacy Gill and Johann Brand, Wayne Ramsey, Sarah Clark and John Shaw taking other places. The second event went to Norm Short and family, Les Nicholls, Darren Rozdeba and Scott Peters, while Dick Heapy Irwin Lennox and Russell and Susan Thompson won the third. On February 17, 36 junior curlers completed three draws. Quinn Robins team won the Ed Westbrook Memorial Trophy. Volunteers and donors boosted a successful program with prizes and raffle keeps.
