16th Annual Rapid City Family Fishing Derby Winners
The 16th annual Rapid City Family Fishing Derby yielded 49 fish caught with no walleye. Michelle Connolly won first place at 6.1 pounds ($500), Rodney Jones second at 5.0 pounds ($400), Corey Cronkrite third at 3.9 pounds ($300), Brayden Deedman fourth at 3.2 pounds ($200). Peter Turner captured the smallest fish at 0.3 pounds. Blake Boyd won the children’s category on her birthday. prizes for 5th–10th came from local donors.
