Train committee signs long term lease for station restoration
Rivers Train Station Restoration Project signs a long term lease with Via Rail on January 28 to restore the heritage station. The project will begin with a new roof and pursue charitable status while preserving exterior heritage standards. A fundraising raffle raised 726 from Ina Hyndman’s donated painting Evening Train, won by Calvin Slobodian.
