Solid manure injection planned for Saskatchewan farms
Researchers at the University of Saskatchewan and PAMI aim to field test a solid manure injector by spring 2001 as part of a project to apply manure with 10 to 15 percent solids. The system uses four screw conveyors and a transverse screw for uniform distribution and under-soil injection, targeting feedlots and Western Canada’s livestock expansion.
