Manitoba to launch provincewide colorectal cancer screening
Manitoba introduces a spring start for a targeted bowel screening program. In phase one about 25 000 kits will reach residents aged 50 to 74 in Winnipeg and Assiniboine regions, with a public education push and central followup for positive tests. The plan aims to reduce mortality by early detection and expand across the province.
