Santa's 9,000 postal elves prepare to handle over one million letters in 30 languages including braille. Three rules stress return address, sending letters before Dec 20, and using the proper Canadian Santa mailbox address at North Pole HOHOHO. The program relies on volunteers, teachers, and 226000 hours donated to boost reading and writing through mail system education.
