Way-Mer Agencies opens new store after 70 years in business
Wayne Wareham and his son Kent moved Rivers insurer Way-Mer Agencies to a 2170 square foot building at Main Street and Second Avenue. The grand opening on December 6 drew 250 to 300 visitors with cookies coffee and door prizes. The fourth generation family business born in 1935 continues into a fifth generation with Kent’s newborn son.
