RM of Saskatchewan conflict of interest inquiry raises concerns
The 4 Rivers Banner reports that the RM of Saskatchewan council approved hiring F. Kozak and Sons to crush 10,000 yards of gravel at the Sharpe pit this fall. Councillor Terry Drebit says Reeve Robert Sharpe and his wife, the RMCAO, own the pit and should have recused themselves. He urges tendering gravel work and notes the Municipal Council Conflict of Interest Act requires disclosure and withdrawal from affected discussions.
