Manitoba farmers gain clean water via pipeline plow program
Fresh water now flows into the Mid Assiniboine River area farms through a conservation district Pipeline Plow Program. Barry Nevin operates a greenhouse and dairy near Nevin Leeds and says the reliable supply is a major improvement. The MARCO program enables burying water lines across pastures, speeding installations from days to miles per day and expanding access for households, crops, and cattle.
