Compensation for Alexander Grain producers after elevator closure
The Canadian Grain Commission announced full compensation for 14 of 15 producers who sold grain to Alexander Grain Inc in Alexander Manitoba after their primary elevator license was cancelled on February 5 2008. Eligible claims total 129214.96 with 117200.32 at 100 percent and 15107 at 85 percent. Cheques will be mailed. one claim covered only interest and a price adjustment.
