Rector Paul Curtis retires after decade of tri parish service
The tri parish communities of Rivers Strathclair and Hamiota bid farewell to Paul Curtis and his wife Jean as he retires from religious service after ten years in residence. He moved from Brandon to Rivers in 1989 and will depart August 30 with one final united service held August 16. A handmade card from Jenna Wollman and a wooden wall clock with a thank you plaque were gifts amid tears as parishioners shared memories. The area awaits a new minister, with lay readers stepping in for services and the bishop reviewing parish profiles for future appointments.
