Riverdale Community Gardens clears debt on ice resurfacers
In February 1999 Riverdale Community Gardens bought a reconditioned ice resurfacer for about $40,000. To finance it the group borrowed $10,000 from both the Town of Rivers and the RM of Daly, with four year repayment plans. Donations helped repay the loans in under three years.
