Ferguson-Travis announce the arrival of their son Clayton Bradley on July 22, 1997 at Neepawa Hospital weighing 3 pounds ? oz. Dr. Ong and staff recognized. John and Leanne announce their son Owen Thomas born July 1 1997 weighing 11 lb 2 oz and 23 1/2 inches long. Grandparents Bob Hall Westbourne Edgar Soliner Plumas and great grandparents Jim and Phillis Atinger Gladstone are noted.
On August 2 1997 Marvin and Karen Beaumont hosted the wedding of Raymond Morris Beaumont to Wan Suk Ng at Franklin Manitoba. Raymond son of Evan Sykes and the late Richard Beaumont and Wan Suk Ng daughter of Hoi Kwai Ng and Ho Lee Ng of Hong Kong celebrated with family. The ceremony was performed by Raymonds brother Marvin a bishop with the LDS church. Witnesses included Dennis Beaumont and Helen Cramb. After a luncheon the couple returned to Winnipeg and Wan will start a Masters in Social Work at the University of Manitoba while Raymond pursues a History Masters. Guests came from Oakville Selkirk Winnipeg Abbotsford and Palm Beach Florida.
Tina Jenkins and Darryl Kozak announce their engagement with Ken and Janice Jenkins Gerry and Jean Kozak of Neepawa. The couple plan to marry Saturday August 23 1997 at Riverbend Park Neepawa Manitoba.
The Whitehorse Band performs at Kelwood Legion on Saturday August 16 at 9 PM to 1 AM. Members and guests welcome and plans note a post fair gathering.
