Rivers District 4-H Beef Club Awards at Rivers Fair
The Rivers District 4-H Beef Club held its Rivers Fair achievement event on July 8. Winners included Senior Carrie Dyer and Intermediate Tanis Dyer for judging, Dustin Veitch for junior showmanship, with Tanis Dyer, Steven Marion, and Dustin Veitch earning top showmanship placings. Shawn Airey claimed grand showmanship and several champion titles, with trophies from the Royal Canadian Legion North American Lumber and other sponsors. Norman Bridgeman won the People s Choice Jackpot. 1992 93 leaders were Les Wood and Harry Airey.
