Quarter-Century of Chicken Jack's in Rivers Celebrated
Jackie Fehr marked 25 years of serving Rivers area with a 2 hour self-serve event on April 19, mingling with staff, family, and customers. The building began as Clare's Woodwork in 1978, became Chicken Jack's in 1983 under Jack Denbow, later sold to the Krugers, then to Jackie and Lloyd Fehr. The restaurant saw name changes and leasing, with a 2003 shift to West Avenue Steak House and Lounge while locals still know it as Chicken Jack's.
