Legion Branch 75 honors banquet showcases long service
The annual Legion Branch No 75 and Ladies Auxiliary awards banquet on April 17 featured head table piping by Jamie McFadden and MC Paul Curtis opening with jokes and a blessing. A roast beef supper from West Avenue followed. Garry Nielsen welcomed guests including zone commanders and auxiliary leaders. Music by Ken and Jean Young closed the event with God Save the Queen. Awards recognized long service pins from five to 60 years for numerous members, along with auxiliary pins and past officer medals honoring both branches.
