Tennis Court Upgrade Planned for Next Week

The tennis court is set for upgrades in the coming week or two. Phil needs assistance with the project and should be contacted via Kenton Co op. The Kentones attended a Prairieland Chorus concert last Saturday April 15 and reported a great success.

Shawn Airey wins top 1999 trade award in Winnipeg

Congratulations to Shawn Airey who achieved the highest standing for 1999 in heavy duty equipment mechanic training. He received a unique sculpture designed by blacksmith Richard Kraemer at the Manitoba Apprenticeship Trades award ceremony in Winnipeg on April 14. Shawn completed his fourth year of apprenticeship at Powell Equipment in Winnipeg. Selection was based on on the job performance employer instructor recommendation and final exam results.
