Manitoba Moves to Establish Organic Food Standards
Agriculture Minister Rosann Wowchuk introduced the Organic Agricultural Products Act to formalize Manitoba's framework for organic food production. The act adopts federal standards for intra province trade and covers organic livestock feed and aquaculture, with input from Keystone Agricultural Producers and OPAM.
