The Southwest Conservation Centre invites volunteers for Manitoba owl surveys starting after sunset to record owls along fixed routes. In 1996, 351 owls were recorded across 72 routes with 1963 stops, and Rivers lacks volunteers. Call 522-3719 or 522-8733 to join before April 20.
